Adventure
Zipline across the valley, dance under the rain showers, dive into the pool, then take on the lawn games. Real thrills for the brave, easy fun for everyone else.

Nature
Tucked into the green folds of Pali–sudhagad, the farm trades city noise for birdsong and open sky: wide lawns, fresh air and room to simply breathe.

Comfort
After the adventure, retreat to air-conditioned rooms and suites, eat freshly cooked meals from morning to night, and end the day at the bonfire. Comfort here is never an afterthought.

Why we built it
Arnav Harmony Farm puts the activities and the rooms on one property, in the hills of Pali, sudhagad. That combination is the whole idea, and it is a deliberate one.
01
Most trips out of the city end up assembled from parts. Somewhere to sleep, somewhere else to eat, a third place for the children to burn off the afternoon, and a lot of driving in between. We built this the other way round. The zipline, the pool, the rain dance, the lawn games, the restaurant and the rooms all sit on one property, so the day holds together without anyone checking a map.
02
A family of three fits a Deluxe room, eight friends fit the villa, and a company offsite fits the hall and the lawns. Children under five come free on a day visit and five to twelve pay half, because a toddler is not a paying head. The point is that nobody gets left out of the plan on the grounds that the venue only really suits one kind of visit.
03
Meals here are cooked on the farm and served through the day rather than bought in and reheated. Breakfast runs into lunch, high tea into dinner, and the same kitchen that plates a set menu at Madhuban caters a wedding on the lawn. It is the least glamorous part of the property and the one guests notice most.
04
Pali sits in the green folds of sudhagad, close enough to Mumbai and Pune for a weekend and far enough that the noise stops at the gate. We have tried not to get in the way of that. Wide lawns, open sky, and a bonfire once it is dark, which is usually the part people describe first when they get home.
All under one roof
Nearby attractions
The farm sits in the middle of some of the best of Raigad. Ask at reception before you set out: conditions on the trails and the river change through the year, and we will tell you what is worth doing that week.
Ashtavinayak temple · in Pali
The nearest of all of these, and the reason many people come to Pali in the first place: one of the eight Ashtavinayak shrines, and the only one where the deity carries the name of the devotee rather than the god. The stone temple sits below Sarasgad, and mornings during the Ganesh festivals are busy in the best way. Dress modestly and leave footwear at the entrance.
Hill fort · trek
The fort standing directly over Pali, its rock-cut steps climbing steeply from near the Ballaleshwar temple. It is a short ascent rather than an easy one, and the reward at the top is the whole valley laid out below, with the bastions and cisterns of the old fort still there to wander through.
White water · Kolad
The Kundalika at Kolad is one of the few rivers in the country with a dam-released flow, which means dependable white water long after the monsoon has finished elsewhere. Operators run guided descents through a series of rapids, with everything provided and no experience required.
Waterfall · monsoon trek
A walk in through forest and stream crossings opens onto a tall fall dropping into a wide green plunge pool ringed by rock. It is at its most dramatic in and just after the monsoon, which is also when the trail is at its most slippery, so it is worth going early and with a guide.
Waterfall · local favourite
The one the neighbours go to rather than the one the coaches stop at. A short walk off the road leads to water falling into a shallow pool with room to sit, and on a weekday morning in season you may well have it to yourselves. Ask at reception for directions and the current state of the path.
Hill fort · trek
A broad, high plateau fort with a long history and far more of its structure intact than most: gateways, water tanks and an old temple you can shelter in. The climb is longer and gentler than Sarasgad, which makes it the better choice for a group taking its time over a full day.
